Why a scientific validation?

When we started to use the Enneagram in the late nineties, we quickly came up against the disparity between, on the one hand, the perception we had of its exceptional power based on the personal experiences of participants and, on the other, the often esoteric perception of it mainly by the corporate world, in particular when compared with other tools such as the MBTI and the PCM. We quickly became convinced that it was important to give it a scientific foundation.

We therefore invested in research in collaboration with Professor Nathalie Delobbe from the Louvain School of Management. Academic recognition of the validity of the HPEI enables us to offer a high performing, credible tool, while continuing to position ourselves in the oral tradition dimension. The HPEI also opens the door to numerous further research projects in an academic context that can only be conducted with a validated tool.
